Summary:

Rwanda is a tiny, landlocked nation in East Africa which has experienced immense economic success since its 1994 Annihilation campaign. Under the leadership of President Paul Kagame, a two-decade Economic Development strategy known as "Vision 2020" was established which saw economic growth from 753 million dollars to 11 billion dollars with a comparable rise in per capita figures. The plan seeks to establish an effective rule of law, eliminate graft and corruption and minimize risk for foreign investors while increasing infrastructure such as healthcare, education utilities and significant advances into technology sectors like informatics communication Technologies artificial intelligence and data collection. Leveraging examples from both Singapore's development under Lee Kuan Yew as well as China's can be seen in Rwanda's efforts towards modernization such as their national carrier Rwand Air modelled after Singapore Airlines.
